We have two fishing lakes and some small breeding ponds.
The area of Billington Rough was recorded as a 'Carp Pond' more than 400 years ago. The area fell into misuse for many years but has had a pond on it for 50 years or so that we are aware of.
About five years ago, when we bought the land, we extended the Main pond and added more fish. There were a lot of Carp in the pond before we modified it. The winner of a recent match recorded a 60lbs+ catch. Including a 15lb carp.
The Canal lake was dug by us about three years ago and has been stocked with a variety of Silver Fish. They are not very big yet but if you like catching a lot of small fish, this lake could be for you, or for a younger person under supervision.

We have a licence for 22 pegs at any one time and these
can be on either lake or on a combination of both.
There is car parking for 20 cars and we can get your car close to the water if you have a mobility problem.
Day tickets are available for £6 for 1 rod. (£3 after 3pm).
Match bookings are taken at prices to be negotiated.
Season Tickets are also available for £80 per year.
